Dr. Razmus received the DDS degree from the University of Michigan (1975) and a certificate and MS degree in Dental Diagnostic Science (Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology) from the University of Texas, Health Science Center at San Antonio (1985).

He was on the faculty of Indiana University School of Dentistry for six years and relocated to West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1993. He has been a tenured professor there since 1999, and Chair of the Department of Diagnostic Science since 2001. He has co-authored two radiology textbooks. Dr. Razmus became a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 1990. He has been a member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology since 1983 and served as President from 1999-2000. He is a member of the American Dental Association, and participates in dental and dental hygiene test construction for the Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations. He served as Director, Vice-President and President of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.

He retired from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in July, 2013 and is enjoying motorcycling, bicycling, and hiking in the beautiful country near Ann Arbor, Michigan.
