Kristine Mosier, DDS, PhD

Dr. Mosier is Associate Professor of Radiology with tenure and Chief of Head and Neck Imaging, Section of Neuroradiology, Department of Radiology in the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Mosier received her D.M.D degree in 1990 from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut in 1997. She completed a residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Connecticut in 1992. Dr. Mosier has been a Diplomate of the ABOMR since 1994.

Dr. Mosier devotes her time to the clinical practice of head & neck and maxillofacial radiology as a full member of a group practice providing complete coverage to 7 major urban hospitals and 10 outpatient imaging centers. Her research is focused on high field MRI, Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI, DTI, Perfusion) as well as clinical research focused on applications of these techniques and PET-CT. Dr. Mosier previously served as chairman of the AAOMR Long Range Planning committee. She is the recipient of over $3 million in NIH, NSF and other extramural funding. She is the author or coauthor of 79 peer-reviewed or invited publications and 42 abstracts and has delivered 35 invited presentations. Dr. Mosier previously served as an editorial board member for OOOE and is a reviewer for several radiology/neuroradiology journals and DMFR.
