Ramesh Kuba, BDS, MS

Dr. Kuba was a full-time faculty member in dental educational institutions for 41 years. He spent 37 of these years at University of Minnesota Dental School where he was Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He retired from dental education in 2007. He is currently Professor Emeritus and Century Club Professor at the School of Dentistry. During his tenure at University of Minnesota, he received Outstanding Faculty/Exceptional Instructor awards nine times by various dental classes. In 2011, the faculty decided to dedicate a conference room in his name. He has served in many leadership roles in AAOMR and ABOMR. He was an Examiner on the Fellowship Certification Committee of AAOMR for five years and was its chairperson in 1980. He served as a member of the Executive Committee for four years and over a dozen more committees of AAOMR. He was a Director of ABOMR 1982-1987 and it’s President in 1986-87. Dr. Kuba was a reviewer for Quadruple O and ADEA journals. He has given over 100 extra-curricular presentations to various professional groups. Dr. Kuba is an avid national and international traveler. He has set foot on 53 countries to-date.
